- Excellence in areas not dependent on reading, such as: math, computers, and visual arts, philosophy, biology, social studies, and creative writing
- Noticeable excellence when focused on a highly specialized area
- Easily express ideas and feelings
- Exceptional empathy and warmth, and feeling for others
- Easily adapt to new situations
- Inclination to think out of the box

I really liked reading your blog and I thought it was very interesting. I found there are several positive symptoms to those with dyslexia.
It’s good that websites like yours exist to inform the general public on the positive aspects of dyslexia.
These points describe my son and myself perfectly. As I learn more about how our dyslexic minds work, I focus more on the positive aspects of it and our talents at so many things and brush aside the negatives. (What would we do with out spell check?)
