I was searching the Internet looking for some free reading resources for parents and ran across the U.S. Department of Education’s site dedicated to a topic near and dear to my heart; Help My Child Read.
The U.S. Department of Education has assembled quite a list of downloadable PDF files from: Reading Tips for Parents Fun Activities Parents Can Use to Build a Child’s Language Skills Suggestions for Educating Preschoolers Additionally, there are many publications, activities, and ideas dedicated to promoting reading success and developing strong readers, plus resources for children with reading problems or learning disabilities.
